What is a marketing site?

A marketing site is your public face: the pages anyone can read without logging in, the ones that show who you are, what you offer and why you can be trusted. That sets it apart from a web app, which is a tool behind a login — this is not about doing work, it is about being found and being convincing.

For many prospects it is the first contact with you, often before anyone picks up the phone. It is what Google shows your customers, what an invoice links to, and what a partner opens before they commit. Which is why every second of load time and every clean piece of markup pays off directly.

What it gets you

Marketing sites

  • 01

    Found instead of buried

Structured data, real content in the HTML, sitemap and hreflang done properly — the groundwork rankings are built on.

  • 02

Fast even on a bad connection

No framework bloat, no layout jumping around while it loads. Fast where your customers actually are.

  • 03

    You can maintain it yourself

A CMS for everything that changes often. New prices, a new post, a different image — no engineer, no waiting.

What you use it for

What a good site does for you

  • Wider reach

People searching for what you do find you, not only your competitor. Properly marked-up content is the precondition for a search engine placing you at all.

  • Enquiries instead of phone calls

A form that asks the right questions saves you the third clarifying call — and lets someone enquire at 10pm.

  • Change content yourself

Prices, opening hours, references, job ads: you change it yourself in five minutes instead of commissioning it.

  • Sell in more than one language

The same content in German and English, kept technically separate — so each language version ranks on its own instead of competing with itself.

  • Appointments bookable directly

Consultations, viewings, treatments: customers book an open slot themselves. There is a section on what that can look like further down.

  • A presence that matches the offer

At a launch, a rebrand or a new line of business, the site is the first thing people see — and the easiest thing you can change.

What's included
  • Content structure and wording worked out together
  • Design in your branding, from wide desktop to small phone
  • CMS integration — Contao or a custom CMS, after we compare them together
  • Multi-language with correct canonical and hreflang tags
  • Structured data, sitemap, robots.txt and link previews
  • Contact forms with spam protection, GDPR-compliant
  • A booking system on request, independent or connected to Microsoft 365

What exactly is a CMS?

CMS stands for content management system. It is a protected area where you edit the content of your website without touching HTML or code. You log in, change a text, swap an image, add a new post, hit save — the site is updated.

The difference to a site without one: there, every sentence is part of the program code. Every price change, every new reference and every job ad then becomes a small job for an engineer. With a CMS you handle that yourself — and we only build what is genuinely new.

Not every site needs one. For five pages that change twice a year, a CMS is effort without a return. We tell you which category your site falls into before we quote.

  • Contao

An established open-source CMS developed in Europe. A proven system with a broad feature set, regular security updates and an interface many editors already know.

  • A custom CMS

An editing area cut exactly to your content. Only the fields you actually maintain, named in your own words — nothing that needs explaining, and no feature nobody uses.

Add-on module

A booking system built to fit

If your customers arrange appointments with you — consultations, viewings, treatments, workshop slots — booking belongs on the website rather than on the phone. We build the booking system around your process: your services, your hours, your buffers and your rules about who may book what and for how long.

For the calendar side there are two routes, and both work equally well. Which one is right depends only on what your team works with today.

  • An independent solution

Booking and calendar run entirely inside your own application. No licence costs, no dependency on a vendor, all data with you. The right fit if your team does not run a shared calendar in the cloud.

  • Connected to Microsoft 365

Bookings write straight into your staff Outlook calendars and read their availability. If you already work with Microsoft 365, nothing has to change and there is still only one calendar to maintain.
